BEIJING (Thomson Financial) - Schneider Electric has been ordered to pay 330 mln yuan (30 mln eur) to a Chinese company after a Chinese court found the French electrical distribution equipment maker had violated its intellectual property rights.
Schneider Electric has ten days to pay Chinese company, Chint, according to a report in local newspaper Beijing News.
Schneider said it will appeal the decision, and noted that it has sued Chint in a separate counterfeiting case.
