Speaking for myself, what is the criticism I voice? The redundancy of their message. And that's when I will post my contrary view. And I do this precisely in the interest of a balanced discussion. You would rather we just sit and live with the posting of a very negative slant on something (usually based on little to nothing, or such an ancient issue that it's no longer relevant), with no retort? Is that the board YOU want? Sure sounds like it based on your words above. Comes across as "I want free speech, but only with the words I like, as often as I like".

While we often disagree, if a Long on my side of the opinion fence posted what's quoted above, I'd jump them too.

But notice one thing (especially as applies to me): virtually every time I criticize as described above, it's in response to the post I consider negative/weak. It's reactionary. So where oh where does the "fault" lie (if there is any)?

BTW, I appears to me that some folks are "gaming" the voting system, in a big way. Look at the forum page, look at the thumbs down, look who the posters are, look at their messages. Can we guess what "camp" is doing the gaming? And for the critics of the voting system in total, remember Agora's stated purpose.
