At the question I posed earlier of how many times greater our award should be compared to 600 million for a SINGLE handheld device or 156 million for a silly phone card keeping in mind that the 336 patent is being infringed upon by virtually EVERY microprocessor in the WORLD today.
Handheld device, well lets see, how many different platforms do we have there including the Blackberry, I'd have to say consevatively 10 So I'll go 10 X's minimum....650x10=6500 MILLION, for those of you in Rio Linda thats 6.5 Billion, yes BILLION with a B!!
Now for the silly phone card, this one is kind of hard to say cause I really have no idea if or where anyone at all infringes on our patents but I have no qualms about looking at the value of theirs and ours in terms of contribution value in the tech world and I would have to say at least 100 X's greater value could easily be placed on a technology that is inside every chip made versus a single silly phone card....So 156X100=15,600 million or 15.6 Billion!!
I know these numbers will certainly blow some minds around here especially given the share price currently but I implore you, look at the contributions of each only and ask your self if the multiples I have suggested here arn't actually quite conservative!!
