ARM thoughts

I missed all the chat about ARM cores this weekend. As we all know, ARM is basically irrelevant - at this time.  From my previous DD I found, in addition to the ARM7 cores, which are used by MEI in their MN1A7T200 chip which infringes on the 336. (At least we are accusing them of that. Maybe MEI altered that core themselves?)that the ARM 926 EJS-S and the 1026EJ-S are cores widely used by many others we are targeting as infringers. Including Fujitsu, who has settled.  Other cores Fujitsu uses from ARM include the 1020E, 1022E and the 946E-S.  Do they infringe on the 336 and the 148?  I don't know and most likely will not do much more searching.  These things will come to light in due time.

My best guess is ARM will resurface in another case at a later date or most likely, they will license after we succeed in the J2.5 case.  What did we get out of the partial NEC license anyway, anyone know?

Corrections welcome. All IMO only.
