I was gone most of the morning, but looking at the Yahoo chart for the day's trading activity, I don't see what you guys are so excited about.  700K shares and a one penney drop.  Selling pressure?

1Rare1 says it can't be traders.  I think that's exactly who it is.  Traders don't always just monkey with one solitary stock.  The broad market has been a daytrader's dream lately - huge swings. I was even tempted to play that game.  Just play the trend throughout each day, and it's your friend.  Lots of money could be made....  So take some off the table here, play with it, and buy back later.  If taxes aren't a concern, or you're using your IRA account, it's a very appealing play.   And there's always the possibility of people selling this unmarginable stock to cover margin calls on other stocks bought on margin.  When the market is as volitile has it has been lately, there are lots of possible and logical explanations for the trading of PTSC, which really hasn't traded in an unusual way - at all.

I don't think S&L is even in play.  Why in the world would they sell, thus driving the PPS down, when they are locked in to a warrant buy-back agreement that hinges on the PPS?  So they can lose a bunch of money (i.e., make less)?  Completely illogical IMO, and comes across as FUD to me.  People going so far as to not only suggest that S&L is selling their core position, but saying that it is because they know we're going to lose in TX.  WTF?  If that were the case, they'd dump and we would have ended the day with 20-40M volume, and trading at 5 cents or less.

All of the above is purely my ignorant opinion.

What is with this board lately?  Bickering, over-sensitized, FUD, departures due to trivial BS.....  Holy Toledo!  Look ahead!

Maybe think for a few minutes about the possible very positive outcome of the off-line discussions going on between TPL and MEI, to be completed by 22/29 Aug.  I've given it an hour or two of thought.  It could turn out to be nothing, or it could turn out to be a major event.  It's worth a thought....

And I KNOW nuttin'!
