I certainly understand your frustration. Your points are well stated.
I don't agree with your assumption that nothing is going on, but I also have zero proof or results. So, at least at this point, you are more right than wrong if the company were to die today and file Ch 11 and then 7. If it happens, I'll probably scream at my computer screen and figure out a way to blame my wife.....hmmm...that won't be easy or pretty as she might hit me in the middle of the night with that big cast iron frying pan (Lodge brand only) and pain seems to hurt a lot more at 47 than it did when playing linebacker was easy.
However, PTSC has, at a minimum, been strong enough to hang on and keep their lights on. As you know, there was a time not so long ago that many predicted certain doom. Maybe they were right and everyone's cash is going straight down the toilet. I just don't see that happening at all. There are too many positives and too many mean ole copy cats to fight. Remember, most here bought based on a "great chip set" and not necessarily for the patents or IP licenses. I did not. I bought because I wanted in on the IP rights after a trusted EDIGer (Thanks again, Gil!) gave me a head's up to do some DD. Like EDIG, it was the patents that got my attention.
On the rose colored glasses side, if the warrant conversion happens as stated, that's one step of many needed in the right direction. Step two comes in January at this point and a win, IMO, will be another step in the right direction. If there are six more major license deals for a total of $50M (conservative side?) that will be another step in the right direction. My point being that the road ahead for PTSC may be long and filled with pot holes, but at least we are on the road and we are traveling in the right direction. IMO, PTSC is NOT a home run stock that will jump to an $8 per share price in a week. Of course, just my $0.02 and worth the price paid.
We can all agree that "something" needs to happen, it's just pulling those teeth to KNOW the future -- which makes the wait a bit on the long side. Been fishin' lately? lol
I'm far less concerned about my investment today than I was a month or so ago (pre Markman ruling), but that's just me.
