I used to have 2 cats Lynx - Syamese, named Jake and Elwood, after tha blues brothers. They were brothers and real buddies. I acquired them from an animal shelter on an Army post that I was assigned to at the time. I loved those cats. They were part of the family for 5 years. To tell you truth, my moniker comes from one of my 3 dogs, my youngest a mixture of shepherd and blue healer. I love animals of all types and have 3 wild mustang horses (which I can't ride) and 60 cows and calves. Farm country seems to be hard on cats. Barn kitties are a real plus because they eat the mice and rats. They are hard to hold onto here as my dogs to not take kindly to strangers in the form of smaller animals. This is unfortunate for me and my wife.
