I appose the current Patent Reform Act of 2007. It seems big international business is trying to turn reform upside down. Patent reform should be designed to improve patent protection.
During my carrier I developed 3 innovative ideas resulting in patents. Though I never made any money directly from these patents don’t underestimate the motivational power of the carrot. I spent much time perusing unique solutions to technical problems, with an eye on the golden ring.
The patent reform legislation now pending leaves me feeling that international big business is about to destroy much of the motivational power of the patent process. Please consider that this country’s innovators need your help in keeping America strong by keeping patent laws balanced and fair; think of the individuals that help make this country competitive. Please don’t succumb to illogical attacks such as “patent troll name calling". Strong patent laws and strong patent enforcement benefit the United States. Don’t sell out our patent system to big international businesses
