I understand the "saving face" thing, but maybe we're beyond that concern. Assuming the Js are identified in the marketing (and why wouldn't they?), this may be a way of applying more pressure on them to settle. I doubt any marketing materials would pronounce victory, but they would bring the fact that the litigation is in process, and that 20 major corporations have already settled, to the eyes of those vested in the Js, prompting a "what are they doing?" thought process. It may be the only pressure mechanism we have left, outside the court room.

And when I said "we may be beyond that concern", I'm more thinking about no settlements and the Js losing (big) in court, for the world to see. No saving face in that scenario!
