Perhaps your attitude on this would change if you looked at all the FACTS surrounding this.

I'll agree that the deletion may have been a little over zealous if a law ignorant poster had posted that message, which as stated said that the '584 was dead per the USPTO. But it was NOT a law ignorant poster, it was in fact "apatentlawyer" that made that post. He KNEW better. The post was absolutely incorrect and deceiptful - intentionally deceiptful. There lies the problem.

And he did this after a period of trying to gain some credibility here. I'm sure he assumed, having built some measure of credibility, people would simply take his word. Shameful behavior IMO.

The post was rightfully deleted. The follow-on posts containing the facts of the matter were retained. All that was lost via the deletion was intentional deceipt.

You still have a problem with that?
