Well, you might be right that sanctions can be very expensive, but Toshiba just got sanctioned in another case, and I do not see anything there that would increase their cost if the same sanctions were applied in this case. That is, if they presume a trial loss anyway and a pre-trial settlement. So I stick with my orginal thought that they just want to frustrate TPL into agreeing to less $ IMHO Opty
