Check the post to which this replies. It is the first of two extensions for compliance with PR 3-8. Note that it was originally due on 2 July, which is 15 days after the Markman ruling, plus 2 days because the 15th day was a Saturday.
Thus, the clock started on 15 June (the day the Markmen ruling was issued), and (as Ron advised) the extended days were probably business days because it was less than a ten day extension (both times). The clock did NOT start on 18 June as you keep insisting, because that would have set the date for compliance with PR 3-8 on 3 June, not 2 June.
Mediation must be complete NLT on or about 8/15/07, unless settlement is achieved sooner. If mediation, once completed, does not result in settlement, then off to trial (or, IMO, time to file for summary judgment).
I hope this settles this issue. Enough disruption from the two of us!
