I've thought about this as well, only with a different twist.  Now, I'm speaking in ignorance here, but it occurs to me that since ARM cited the '584 and '336 in their patent applications, suggesting that those patents were "building blocks" for their patent(s), and then the '584 and '336 were effectively agrued to be invalid, what would that do to ARM's patents?  Invalid as well?  Probably not, but I'm not equipped to KNOW the answer to this intriguing question.
