FWIW...

From what I can tell, the ASIC products listed (TC220, TC240, TC260, TC280, TC300) do cover a broad range of products including network equipment (HUBs, Switches), Mass Storage, Set-Top-Boxes, Printers, Graphics Chipsets, etc.

Toshiba does license the ARM SOCs/ASIC cores (ARM7TDMI-S, ARM926EJ-S, ARM946E-S, ARM1026EJ-S), all of which have been accused by TPL of infringing the ‘584 patent.

Could be that ARM is on the hook for the "TC products" listed above as Toshiba uses ARM cores therefore this Pacer filing was the easiest way of simplifying who is to blame for what. I really don't know without performing a lot more DD, and by the time I figured it out (if I could at all), there probably will be a settlement. At least I hope that is the case. GLTAL
