You are correct - many eyes were on the markman ruling, and just as TPL is scrutinizing some of the few details of the ruling, so are the defendants, and the others on the fence. I would bet the scrutiny will continue on their timetable, not ours.No one wants to pay unless they have to - of course the longer the wait, the more exposure they have.

I would also caution that those that have been "waiting in the wings" for the markman ruling before committing, may still waiting in the wings to see what the defendants will do - it could be November before the defendants fold, or it could go to trial.

In the meantime, let the SP grind down.
