Hey... The Islands are my backyard!  Orcas, eagles, minkies, porpoises, seals & sea lions.. dungeness crab.. not to mention tidal pools and awesome sunsets....   they are some of the best boating/kayaking islands one could hope for... and after you get familiar with the San Juans, you have the Canadian Gulfs Islands, the BC Sunshine Coast, Vancouver Is & Desolation Sound to explore...
