Though this is serious, imagine the signing of those peace treaties. Whites getting the Indians drunk, the Indians getting the Whites totally stoned. Must smoke peace pipe. And we wonder why that got fouled up.....

But the USG did screw the Indians in a huge way. "You must endeavor to perserveer". Maybe blame the Bible thumpin' Westward expansion, taking the promised land from those heathens.
