Unimportant trivia.... My mother was actually Tom Brokaw's 3rd grade teacher, in Pickstown, SD. She said he was just a bit sharper than the other kids... you couldn't use 'mature humor' around him because he understood, lol.... My brother actually met him in a bar in our hometown in SD a few yrs back. My brother introduced himself, and Mr Brokaw replied, "You must be Eleanor's boy".
