I haven't been there for a few years, as there's another great one a mere half mile away (The Red Barn in Santa Ynez). But I've been to Jocko's many times - since childhood. The ONLY drawbacks are that it's in a big brick building that's very noisy when crowded, and it's always crowded! But I 'd have to agree, it's the best.

Jocko's is a couple miles inland from Nipomo/101 (Teft St. offramp); Nipomo is about 15 miles north of Santa Maria.
