I think you can use technical analysis if you use it in conjunction with other factors (fundamentals, news, etc).

Not sure that I could say where the bottom is but the thing that I have been watching since late last week is how we are trending outside the lower bollinger band.  Furhtermore, we have had a nice doji where the buyers stepped in and saved us from a horrible down day (see last Friday).   In the past when ever we did this, there was a substantial correction to the upside. 

I notice the volume has been picking up some too.
