The Arm situation is what has me baffled. We only accuse them of '584 infringement.. I believe they also infringe the '336 (actually accused of by TPL in the Pacer filings) as well as the '148. I do not believe we want to settle with Arm anytime soon, until/unless it is determined in stone all their licensees will still have to also purchase MMP.. I do not believe an ARM settlement could possibly cover monetarily all their licensees (indemnifications or not).. Wouldn't we want to pick all the ARM licensees off before giving Arm a consideration? ARM accusses us of trying to draw this out.. Are we letting them slide on additional infringement accusations? What are the possible reasons for this? Will we accuse them of '336 & '148 on a later date, in a new litigation? More time to negotiate with ARM licensees after a hopefully successful Markman?
What is the ARM strategy TPL & TTC have in play??
