I guess this concept was ultimately as obvious to Judge Ward as it was to me after my reading the Markman transcript, OR I'm friggin' brilliant and so is Judge Ward.  I'm sure it's the former, and not the latter!

Check this post that this post replies to from 5/26/07.  "What I would have added [if I were Cook] in response to the Judge's anology (he and his wife walking together, differences in stride requiring the wife to walk faster to keep up) is that this is a discussion of proportion."

I haven't gotten caught up with posts since the ruling came out and my reading it, so probably others have already opined as I do now that what this means is that WE definitely "won" on this item.
