3) Regarding that math problem recently.... Hotel, $30, $5 back.... Was talking to friend the other day, a painter... He painted the house of an old fella that was, in his prime, regarded as the 3rd top mathematician in the world. Upon learning this, my friend described the exact same poser to him. The guy thought for a minute, and declared it a "mathematical anomaly". Caveat: the guy was 92 years old.
