Opty I was looking back at posts from the first Markman and ran across this post. You nailed it on the head, I was wondering what your thoughts are on the current Markman regarding the arguments of each side for the meanings of the 584 and 749? If you don't feel like it I respect that as well.

We win on claim terms for 336 and Js settle shortly afterward. We lose on claim terms for 584 and we withdraw our 584 infringment claim against the Js. Rationale is simply my belief that the 336 and 148 patents are rock solid and the reason for all prior settlements. Thus, I can't see the court ruling against us on those. On the other hand, the 584 is almost entirely dependant on the meaning of terms used in the patent and I think the defendants do make a case for their view. All IMHO Opty
