It seems like the definition of "accumulation" being used here is the opposite of financial definitions:

"a stock is under accumulation when a seller is trying to liquidate a large amount of shares, the PPS falls, and volume remains low"

That's about as apposite the financial definition as you can get. I think we should call this something else.
