I have been reading the expert witness breifs of Despain and Gafford over the last few days, pretty intense stuff. I am wondering if Judge Ward will call in his own "expert" to assist him with clarification or will he attempt to arrive at construction on his own? Begs another question, how much technical background does his Honor have?

My take on the breifs is pretty simple, Despains qualifications are far and away greater than Gaffords. Dr. Despain goes into very deep detail of how and why he agrees with plaintiffs construction on all counts I've read so far.

Will Judge Ward base some of his decisions on wich "expert" he feels is more competent or better qualified??
