Just to be clear on the coming Markman results...all is not lost if PTSC were to lose, IMO. I like our chances, but this is only one case dealing with a few specifics, not everything PTSC.
Clearly, other mean ole copy cats (19 so far) have had talented engineers look at PTSC's claim and independently determined PTSC was either 100% correct or enough correct to have more risk than reward should the company decide to slug it out in court.
If PTSC wins and S & L converts the outstanding warrants, IMO, the pps heads into a growth mode. If PTSC does not win, the pps takes yet another hit until warrants are converted and TPL signs other companies to license the MMP. While it will not be as easy as the first license deals, TPL will not be out of business. Our management seems to have prepared for either senario with a pile of cash on hand and current JV deals for longer term revs.
Today, the score is:
PTSC 19
Mean ole Copy Cats 0
Certainly, this is just my take on the current situation and all of my shares are in the black -- makes it easy to be positive.
