Yes the company did offer (for $2,500 each if I recall correctly) "evaluation kits" back in the '98/'99. At least one company did use the SHBoom to build the fastest computer in the world at the time (Genroco).
I don't get where you guys were going with this. Reverse engineer? Use PTSC tech without telling us? Look at who got the kits to ID infringers?
The current litigation really has nothing to do with SHBoom tech. Yes, the SHBoom uses the tech of the MMP, as does (apparently) everybody's "fast" chips since the mid-'90s. This litigation is not about infringement of SHBoom, Inflame or Ignite tech. It's about MMP tech from 1989.
Please correct me as appropriate.
