today from Ronran, but this (nokia news) is better. Considering that at the Markman hearing would have no ruling today.

My question to those that are smarter than I; Does anyone believe that there is well orchestrated plan in effect during the period of Markman hearing to Markman Ruling by TPL/PTSC? Where number of licensing deals that have been finalized and announced or will be announced to influence the outcome of the Markman hearing in some way.

What if number of licensing deals with some stellar companies (ie. Nokia) are to be announced strategically in order to make a case for the validity of MMP and null and void the prior art pubpat issue; show the world (and the courts as well as the defendants) that MMP patent are valid and have been confirmed by way of number of coroporate counsel (17 companies to date and counting).

I am having a difficult time trying to express my thoughts on paper....but I think some of you will understand my message. Am I way off base thinking that TPL at a period of time that is very important to the hearing can use their (licensees or other tools) to their advantages.

Would appreciate any inputs.

I luckily bought a little more this morning ...sorta a hedge bet of Markman, prior to Nokia announcement ; first time that my timing was correct.
