More obstacles in our path.  From the SHM notes, it appears that Leckrone was concerned about this type event.  However, Ward may very well state that in considering the recent Supreme Court ruling, he still finds TPL/PTSC’s position to be very compelling and their patents to be a true invention.  A ruling of this type would certainly bolster us for all future licensing negotiations …. And isn’t that what we all want.  80 some licenses to come in a flurry not ever seen before.  The millions have a way of turning to billions, so I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised at the obstacles in our path.  We don’t really know if the sky is falling.  Like a favorite story I know:  A farmer had a horse but the horse ran away.  The neighbors said “that’s so bad” but he replied, “it is neither good nor bad”, many days later the horse returned bringing with him many wild horses who followed.  The neighbors said “that’s so good” but he replied, “it is neither good nor bad”  one day, his son was trying to tame one of the wild horses and fell breaking his leg and arm.  The neighbors said “that’s so bad” but he replied, “it is neither good nor bad”, The country was at war and it was not doing so well, so they instituted a forced draft by going home to home and taking the young men.  With his leg and arm broken, the son was left in his bed. The neighbors said “that’s so good” but he replied, “it is neither good nor bad”  It is what it is, and only in time will we see how this all plays out.  The SHM gave many a renewed confidence in “our” team.
