Does anyone know if Scripps Ventures Inc. the entity that co-owns Holcom with PTSC, is in any way affiliated with Scripps Ventures LLC?
Steve Burdett is the co-founder and Sr. VP of Scripps Ventures LLC and serves on the BOD of portfolio companies. Additionally, he serves as an associate of Prudential Bache Securities. Prior to....he worked at United Media.
United Media is a wholly owned subsidiary of E W Scripps and is the leading independent licensing agency in the world
Scripps Ventures is a $150 million venture fund created by EW Scripps
EW Scripps is a diverse media concern with interests in cable, TV, newspapers, licensing and syndication.
If somehow all these entities are related, perhaps PTSC made the right move in entering into a business relationship with Scripps Ventures Inc. If they are are not related, probably still a good move.
