I won't be surprised if they announce a new CEO tomorrow morning before the SHM however.

Yep, that makes sense even with Mr. Pohl staying on through June. It would give the new CEO 60 days of transition with day-to-day business -- whatever that may be at PTSC. Plus, Mr. Pohl will still be available and, likely, a key consultant for the IP license deals.

I don't believe anyone can state this is a good or a bad turn of events until the new CEO and direction of the company is known.

Seventy year old businessmen retire and the timing makes sense with the Markman results likely due before he is out of day-to-day ops. At that point, PTSC will either have tons of cash flow for future and unknown business plans or be sitting on the sidelines cryin' in their cheap beer with the S & L gang.
