I'm not sure I understand.  My point had nothing to do with "price action [being] part of a planned event.  My point was that (most of) the board and managment appear to be managing the business for its long term success, and not for short term share price appreciation.  This is good if this is indeed what is happening.  It is what every purdent investor should desire of their board and management, as opposed to managing to/for share price; that is a prescription for eventual disaster and is a red flag for future trouble.
