I then said something about the letter being disclosed - still under that scenario.

As for the letter "getting out", pre-supposing a very negative tone, I don't really see a threat. Is this threat any greater than a that of a disgruntled shareholder at the meeting "waving flags and carrying signs" of negativity and criticism? Besides, I don't expect the letter to reflect a very negative tone, if at all. The threat the letter could present is action to unthrown certain BoD members, and that threat need not be stated (they'll get it).
