I disagree.  A letter will show that we're united and organized as opposed to just smoke being blown on a discussion board.  It will show that we do have the potential and intention to distrupt their little party.  

I think they will respond to the letter and address our issues - if they completely ignore it, they know it will piss us off more and cause us to organize and take subsequent action.
