Re: PIC's

What ARM is doing is almost comical. After TPL first submitted their PIC's.  ARM says, hey you can't submit families of chips, all the chips within each family aren't the same.

TPL begins the process of resubmitting each chip, within the family and ask's the court for permision to do so.

Court says "denied" if the proof you have for the families is legitiment and valid, then you would also have the same proof on individual chips.

TPL goes to work anyway and submits "huge" files of individual chips and submits them again, asking for the court to reconsider them being included.

No answer from the court yet on this second request.(Were they admitted as a sealed document though??)

Now ARM submits objection to the "huge additional claim files" saying there is no way they can handle this much information at such a late date. yada yada yada. In addition they say, TPL filed them late to begin with and they shouldn't be allowed anyway. And, they are seeking court protection from these chips being brought up again in any later court cases.

That is absurd. IMO if the patents hold up, Judge Ward will nail ARM's as_  to the wall.

Anyone else read it this way?
