As has been stated here before, he still finds himself stuck between S&L, shareholders & Lecky... He inherited a major mess (thanks Giff) and has IMO balanced (good word Fut) a working relationship between all fairly well.. does he placate S&L? I suppose so, they own 40-60 mil sh/w.. Does the divy benefit them? I suppose so, but it also benefits retail.. and is something Pohl can directly do to give a little back to us, while getting a little PR splash (and a nice short squeeze to boot). Is it the 100% best decision he could make? Perhaps not... Is it 100% the worst decision he could make? Absolutely not. Is it a balance somewhere in between? I believe so... S&L hold great influence here, bottomline.
As I've posted before, Mr Pohl and management need to know they will be held accoutable for their decisions.. they need to realize they need to enlist and utilize the help of other professionals in these decisions.. it appears they are/have. That I applaud.
I truly believe Pohl wants to benefit retail as much as possible... but he can not very well tell S&L to just stick it.
I do not agree with the recent overly negative posts regarding SH letter, divy & Pohl
