I could be wrong, but I do not believe filing bankruptcy gets Silicon Valley Graphics off the hook, other than for damages incurred pre-filing.
A bankruptcy discharges debt, true, but it does not provide a company with a shield to violate another's patents. If the company emerged successfully from its Chapter 11 filing, and it produces / sells products that violate the MMP, then it is subject to all the relief TPL/PTSC can legally request, from damages to injunctive relief, in ongoing fashion.
