Pubpat's funding/founding has been hashed over here pretty well already... General Atlantic Partners & Texas Pacific are heavy funders of Echoing Green and have numerous people on their Board.. Echoing Green is one of the major funders of Pubpat. Gen Atl & Tex Pac are heavily invested ($billions) in China (ie semiconductors, computers, telecomunications, etc.) and IMO do not want PTSC/TPL's hands in their pockets, because they are invested in big time infrngers.
