"as well as future licensees in segments where early tiers have been captured,"
I took note of this wording also. Does this quoted part mean that previous signers are going to have to pay up again in royalties? I thought that they had one time payments. Perhaps the one time payments were for past infringement and the royalty fees are going to come from future sales. That would make sense to me, pay for the past and legal mess and then sign up to pay for the new and continued use. What comments do any others have about this quoted section? Or is this just reiterating that the opportunities to not have to pay royalties are now gone/done/over and all new signers will be paying royalties?
