Patriot Scientific’s intellectual property is directly in the middle of a giant battle between two sides.

This is about dirt cheap Generic Hardware. Yes, Patriot’s intellectual property is standing in the way of cheap, totally commoditized Generic Hardware. If the Hardware manufacturers go in this direction (the wrong direction), they stand to move tens of billions of COMMODITIZED devices/boxes annually. Patriot's infringers are facing some tough decisions... NEC has decided!
