The big idea: What’s the mission/vision of your organization?

The Public Patent Foundation protects civil liberties, public health, and free markets from illegitimate patents by providing those persons and businesses otherwise economically, politically, and socially deprived of access to the system governing patents with representation, advocacy and education.

Moment of Obligation: Why did you decide to start your organization?

I decided to start my organization when I realized no one else was doing what needed to be done, no one else would be better situated to do it, and I had the support of others, including Echoing Green.
