Up to this point many have looked at Patriot's licenses as "nuisance fees," yet PUBPAT comes out stating that the reason for pursuing this review is "because Patriot Scientific's aggressive assertion of [336] is causing substantial public harm by threatening to levy additional costs on the production of microprocessors, which could make every computer Americans buy more expensive."
All of a sudden Patriot is causing public harm? Apparently shareholders (including me) own something of much greater impact and substantially more value than what at least I previously thought.
Methinks PUBPAT's motivation goes beyond looking out for the public good.
