You must have dealt with very different senior executives than I have for over 20 twenty years with five different major corporations (e.g., GM)!  Policing the site to their likes is EXACTLY what they would do!

Maybe you got caught up in all the "teaming" and "concensus building" managememnt philosophy BS.  Um, was a joke (literally).  Ultimately, significant decisions are made at the top, as they should be. Those are the folks that are ultimately responsible and accountable (hopefully), and they placed in those positions for their demonstrated decision-making abilities (or at least that was the intent). Would be the same hear, I suspect.

Sorry, but after my chuckles, I saw a need for a reality check.
