IMO, I suspect Agoracom would continue to Lord over (not meant sarcastically) it's domain and pull back authority if it varys too far from the boundaries of Agoracoms rule, as it has every right to do.

I suspect their philosophy in "senior" member control is based on the premise of better familiarity with Agora's rules, and experience with how a board should run. I'm not saying it's a flawless concept, but it seems a reasonable practice to try at the front end.

For the record, I'm hard and fast opposed to an "ignore" feature. What got us here and how we've generally evolved isn't broken. An "ignore" feature isn't a fix - only a pathway to a concept change counter to how and why Agoracom was developed in the first place.
