Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: PTSC) confirmed that Schneider Electric
today has purchased a Moore Microprocessor Patent(TM) (MMP) Portfolio
license. Patriot Scientific and The TPL Group are co-owners of the MMP

With European business origins dating back to 1836, Schneider Electric

"We welcome Schneider Electric as our first European MMP Portfolio
licensee," said Mike Davis, Alliacense Sr. Vice President, Licensing. "We
also welcome this leading power and control specialist as our first MMP
licensee in the Industrial Equipment industry segment." He confirmed that
substantial discounts are offered to first movers while subsequent
licensees in the same industry category are subject to progressively higher
rates.

The MMP Portfolio patents, filed in the 1980s, cover techniques that
enable higher performance and lower cost designs, and are fundamental to
consumer and commercial digital systems ranging from DVD players, cell
