Licensed for next to nothing.. never implemented. There are basically no tools developed for Ignite.. therefore, while it may actually be a superior performing MPU to the competition, it is IMO a risky choice for implementation. Many, including myself, had hoped GD would develop the necessary tools for Ignite.. or more recently AMD.. but I have a feeling that is wishful thinking. I still believe if a real player in the semi world would take on the monetary load of developing Ignite tools, they would be rewarded with a very marketable product that could compete head to head with Arm for years. above: my opinion only
