Giving away the IP.. The biggees: Intel, AMD.. pre merger, don't even count in my book.. plus TPL at least got $20 mil out of Intel, we got $3 mil from AMD.. HP $31 mil, Fujitsu $24 mil, Sony.. I'll get back to Sony.. The rest: Casio, Nikon, Seiko-Epson, Pentax, Olympus, Kenwood.. no slouches mind you but not in the same class as the biggees, IMO. Now Sony.. Strategic as mentioned, possibly more strategic for TPL/Intellasys than for us.. but still IMO the only biggee that has really been 'let off the hook'.. probably for beneficial litigation reasons as much as to let TPL get a foot in the door of the chip market. Now that Sony's in the fold perhaps they can help educate TT&C (whom they had a prior relationship with) regarding what the remaining J3 may have as a litigation strategy. Who knows what else there maybe.. My guess is PTSC will probably benefit in some way due to Sony's discount deal. I do not believe Leckrone is 'giving away our MMP IP'.. he seems to.. greedy, to me. Do I think he is trying to find a nice balance to keep MMP monies continually coming in.. yes. Are the fees lower than I had hoped.. obviously yes.. but as I have stated before, IMO, they have a lot of crap to fund.. way more than PTSC does (understatement, sorry) .. I do not believe Leckrone is 'giving away the MMP'.. certainly not purposefully. With the additional hirings globally, I would look/hope for an increase in the numbers of licensings per qtr.. perhaps many of the not so biggee fishes.. saving most of the biggees for after litigation, when with a positive outcome, I would expect licensing fees to go up. All my opinion peace out
