Message: german thoughts about the numbers
I think I can help both you guys out. First, Air, the $70M showing up on Yahoo is based on the prior accounting method, where all revenues going to Pheonix (PTSC and TPL) were funneled through PTSC - bookkeeping wise (it's the gross revenue/pre-split number). They've changed accounting methods, so the $70M number is basically halved - thus, the $35M gross revenue to PTSC. That's for the year end reporting. The $15/16M number you're reading about is from the PR that came with the 10K, where they said they had gross revenue to PDS of $33M from 1 June to 3 Oct. (1st Q plus). PTSC gets 45% of the gross number to PDS (after the split), so basically, since YE, PTSC has brought in another $15M. Second, Xero72, income from the Sony deal came in the 1st quarter, and is not included in the YE number. That's why you read of dismay over Q1+, where there were 5 licensees, including Sony, and we only got $15M after the split. It doesn't appear there was any "separate deal" or type of deal with Sony, other than they apparently got off very cheap. I hope this helps..... I think I got it straight, but others will hopefully chime in with any corrections. SGE
