considering the monies received( which includes heavyweight Sony), and the long ago "dozens" boast and inference that fees are "ramping up'....I am truly surprised that more companies have not settled at what appears to be still available...early? round discounts. One has to wonder what the "strategic reasons" were that prompted TPL to remove Sony. I think it simply came down to this. If a biggie like Sony was willing to settle it did not much matter how much the fee was as long as they came to the table. Now we know why the numbers have been delayed so long. Net effect= 4 small additional signings. To this point, not quite the impact TPL anticipated imo. Time to temper alot of predictions imo, like which company we are going to gobble up! The market has correctly predicted what the numbers would look like and additional settlement announcements are likely to have little effect on share price appreciation. Yes, I am quite adept at stating the obvious.LOL The ride continues.
